Broncos won’t host DL Quinnen Williams on pre-draft visit

The Denver Broncos will not host Alabama defensive lineman Quinnen Williams on a pre-draft visit, according to The Athletic’s Nicki Jhabvala. Denver is also the only team with a top-13 pick in this year’s draft that did not meet with Williams at the combine, according to Jhabvala.

The Broncos may believe that Williams will be off the board before they select at No. 10, making a visit not worth their time. Or the team may already view Williams as a top prospect, nullifying the need to take a closer look at him.

Whatever the case may be, Denver won’t bring Williams in before the draft. Williams is the No. 1 interior defensive lineman in this year’s class, according to Draft Wire’s Luke Easterling (view the complete rankings here).

During his two years with the Crimson Tide, Williams totaled 91 tackles (including 26 tackles for losses) and 10 sacks. Draft Wire’s latest NFL mock draft has Williams going off the board at pick No. 4.
