Broncos won’t have fans at training camp practices

With rookies set to report in a week and a half, the Denver Broncos are finalizing plans for their 2020 training camp schedule.

NFL teams are considering bringing smaller rosters than usual to camp this year and clubs will not allow fans to attend practices, according to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Fans won’t be able to attend practices at the UCHealth Training Center but the team might hold a scrimmage or similar event at Empower Field at Mile High in August.

“Teams can have up to two fan events at stadiums this preseason with strict protocols if allowed,” Rapoport tweeted on Friday.

The league is planning to have each team play two preseason games next month but the NFLPA has been arguing against playing any games. If there are any preseason games, fans will have to wear masks, according to Rapoport. Broncos veterans are set to report for camp on July 28.
