Broncos will travel 14,270 miles in 2019, fewest in AFC West

The Denver Broncos will travel 14,270 miles for games during the 2019 NFL season, according to data compiled by John Breech of CBS Sports.

That may sound like a lot but it actually ranks in the bottom half of the league for travel miles. The Broncos will travel the 19th-most miles (or 14th-least) this fall, according to CBS Sports.

Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs — who have a game in Mexico City — will travel 14,298 miles, 17th-most in the NFL.

The Los Angeles Chargers — who also have a game in Mexico — will travel 28,262 miles, third most in the league. The Oakland Raiders — who will play a game in London — will travel 32,023 miles, more than any other team int he NFL.

Compared to its division rivals, Denver has a relatively easy travel schedule this year. There are teams that have it even easier, though.

The New England Patriots, Washington Redskins, Buffalo Bills, New York Giants and New York Jets will all travel less than 10,000 miles. The Jets will travel just 6,730 miles, the fewest in the NFL.
