Broncos will meet with WR N’Keal Harry before NFL draft

The Denver Broncos will meet with Arizona State wide receiver N’Keal Harry before the 2019 NFL draft, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Broncos general manager John Elway watched Harry in person at ASU’s pro day on Wednesday.

Harry (6-2, 228 pounds) ran a 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds and bench-pressed 225 pounds 27 times at the combine earlier this offseason. NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein has compared him to Allen Robinson, who was a second-round pick in the 2014 NFL draft.

During his three years with the Sun Devils, Harry hauled in 213 receptions for 2,889 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also rushed 23 times for 144 yards and three more scores.

Harry is the third-best wide receiver in this year’s class, according to Draft Wire’s Luke Easterling (view the complete rankings here).

“Harry is at his best when winning vertically in contested situations,” Draft Wire’s Gavino Borquez wrote of the WR in February. “The Arizona State product creates huge plays, as he made Pac-12 cornerbacks look silly week in and week out.”

Borquez has predicted Harry will be selected in the second round of the draft. Denver owns pick No. 41 in the second round this year.
