Broncos will have just 3 training camp practices closed to public

Some NFL teams will only have one training camp practice open to the public this summer. The Broncos, on the other hand, will have just three practices closed to the public — 19 practices will be open.

After their final open practice on Aug. 13, the Broncos will have a day off before three consecutive practices closed to the public from Aug. 15-17. Denver’s final two practices of the summer will be joint practices with the 49ers leading up to their preseason showdown on Aug. 19.

This summer will mark the fourth time in five years that the Broncos have held joint practices with the 49ers. The team has also hosted the Bears (2018) and Texans (2014) in recent years. Denver has also held joint practices with the Cowboys (2007-08) and Panthers (1996) in the past.

The “Monday Night Football” contest against San Francisco will be nationally televised on ESPN. The Broncos will have one other nationally televised preseason contest: their Hall of Fame Game showdown with the Falcons will be broadcast on NBC.
