Broncos will have a free training camp practice at their stadium

The Denver Broncos announced their 2019 training camp schedule Tuesday, a schedule that includes 19 practices free and open to the public. The practice that all fans should circle on their calendars will be held on Saturday, July 27. That practice will take place at Broncos Stadium at Mile High, marking the first time the team has held a stadium scrimmage since 2014.

Practicing at the stadium provides a fun experience (and more room) for fans and gives the players a game-like scrimmage atmosphere.

“I think we saw some good things,” former Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning said after their 2014 practice at the team’s stadium. “We will see some good things on film. It’s always nice to get a game-like operation.

“We get everybody on the sidelines, you are out there just with 10 other guys communicating, working some no-call situations, some run plays, pass plays. I think we will get some good knowledge from the film as well.”

The stadium practice will take place from 2:15-4:15 p.m. and seating will be available on a first come, first served basis. Parking will also be free — more information on when the parking lots and gates open will be announced at a later time.
