Broncos will face Antonio Brown twice in 2019

The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to trade wide receiver Antonio Brown to the Oakland Raiders in exchange for third- and fifth-round NFL draft picks, according to Steelers Wire. The trade will not become official until the new league year begins on Wednesday, March 13.

This move means the Denver Broncos will face Brown twice during the 2019 season and at least six times over the next three years (if the receiver plays the entire three years of his contract with the Raiders).

Brown is getting older — he will turn 31 in July — but he has remained productive. The seven-time Pro Bowler hauled 104 receptions for 1,297 yards and 15 touchdowns last season.

Broncos cornerback Chris Harris held Brown to 7.4 yards per reception last year in Denver’s 24-17 win over Pittsburgh. Brown caught nine passes for 67 yards and failed to score a touchdown.

The league has not yet announced the 2019 NFL schedule but we already know Denver’s opponents. The complete schedule is expected to be announced in April.
