It took three weeks, but the Los Angeles Rams captured their first win of the preseason. They beat the Denver Broncos 10-6 at the Coliseum in what was a relatively unexciting game by both teams.
It was John Wolford who led the only scoring drive of the game, hitting Jalen Greene with a 4-yard touchdown pass early in the fourth quarter. Mike Thomas was among the players who stood out for the right reasons, catching three passes for 76 yards, including a 51-yarder from Brandon Allen.
On the ground, the Rams continued to struggle. John Kelly had 32 yards on 10 carries, while Darrell Henderson had trouble finding running room once again; he had 28 yards on 11 carries.
