Broncos vs. Bears injury report: Todd Davis and Bryce Callahan are questionable

Denver Broncos inside linebacker Todd Davis (calf) and cornerback Bryce Callahan (foot) are listed as “questionable” to play on this week’s injury report for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.

Davis suffered a calf injury on the first day of training camp in July and missed more than a month of practice. If he plays in Chicago, Davis probably won’t be in the game for more than 50 snaps.

Callahan has been battling a foot injury dating back to last season. If Callahan is inactive on Sunday, Denver’s top cornerbacks will be Chris Harris, Isaac Yiadom, De’Vante Bausby, Duke Dawson Jr. and Davontae Harris.

The Broncos have ruled out inside linebacker Joe Jones (triceps), offensive tackle Ja’Wuan James (knee) and fullback Andy Janovich.

Corey Nelson and Alexander Johnson will likely fill in for Jones on special teams against the Bears. Elijah Wilkinson is set to start at right tackle and tight end/fullback Andrew Beck will fill in for Janovich against Chicago.

For the Bears, tight end Trey Burton (groin), nose tackle Eddie Goldman (oblique), linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski (knee) and defensive lineman Bilal Nichols (knee) are all listed as “questionable.”

Sunday’s game will begin at 2:25 p.m. MT (view the TV map here).
