Coming from about as far east as you can, undrafted free agent offensive lineman Ryan Crozier looks to continue his football career with the Denver Broncos.

The Connecticut Huskies were one of the worst teams in college football last season, but don’t put that on Crozier, who started all 12 games at center.
Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Crozier signed with UConn after playing at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, a program that has produced several NFL players.
Two serious knee injuries threatened to derail his career, but he went through rehab and showed a commitment to the game that helped him endear himself to the Connecticut coaching staff as well as his teammates.
In all, Crozier made 29 starts at UConn as the team’s center. He comes to the NFL with plenty of experience but he will need to show some versatility and be able to play several positions on the offensive line if he wants to stick around.

It would take some injuries for Crozier to make the 53-man roster in 2019 as there are just too many experienced players in front of him on the depth chart. But the 10-man practice squad is a distinct possibility and that is a realistic goal he should set for himself.
Experienced offensive lineman, especially those with an athletic upside such as Crozier, are not easy to find. If the Broncos can find room to stash this guy and develop him over the season, he could be an asset at some point down the road.
