Broncos trade OLB Von Miller to Rams for multiple draft picks

The Denver Broncos are trading All-Pro outside linebacker Von Miller to the Los Angeles Rams for multiple draft picks, per multiple reports.

The Rams are sending their second-round pick and third-round pick in the 2022 NFL draft to the Broncos in return for the eight-time Pro Bowler, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

An iconic face of the franchise in Denver, Miller now joins a Rams franchise that’s clearly willing to keep parting with premium draft picks in their effort to win a Super Bowl. Los Angeles hasn’t made a first-round pick since taking Jared Goff at No. 1 overall in 2016, and they’re not scheduled to make another one until 2024.

With this deal the Rams have added one of the best edge rushers of this generation to an already formidable defensive front that features Aaron Donald, but they won’t make a pick in the 2022 NFL draft until Day 3.
