Broncos tease new uniforms ‘coming soon’

The Denver Broncos teased their upcoming new uniforms with a short video on social media Monday that indicated “new threads” are “coming soon.”

Shortly after that teaser video was released, Broncos president Damani Leech was made available to media members at the NFL’s league meetings in Orlando. Leech confirmed the current navy and orange colors and existing logo will be featured in the new uniforms, but the club’s getting a “full redesign.”

“Part of the process that we went through was talking about what’s important to the Broncos, what’s important to the Broncos fan base,” Leech said, via Andrew Mason of DenverSports.com. “[We’re] wanting to evolve and be new and different, but also being respectful of our history and traditions. Understanding our surroundings — from a geographic standpoint — there will be nods to that and I think people will be really excited about it.”

Some leaks (with varying degrees of credibility) have suggested the new uniforms will feature the Rocky Mountains on the shoulders.

Here’s a concept mockup of what that could look like, from @TimContic on Twitter/X:

The Broncos have not yet announced an exact date for their uniform unveiling, but it’s safe to assume it will happen before the NFL draft (April 25-27). Let the anticipation begin.

The new primary uniform will feature the current colors and existing logo, but the Broncos will likely have a throwback uniform as well that features their old “D” logo and a lighter blue. Denver currently has a primary orange, away white, alternate navy and Color Rush/throwback uniform set. The new designs should be unveiled in the coming weeks.
