Denver Broncos second-year tight end Noah Fant shared a video on his Instagram page this week showing him running routes for quarterback Drew Lock and working out at a gym.
Fant had a simple cation for the post: “Just a sneak peek.”
Because of COVID-19, the Broncos did not have any on-field organized team activities or minicamp practice sessions this year. Lock helped teammates make up for the missed work by organizing unofficial practices in the Denver area this offseason.
It looks like Fant was able to attend a few of the passing sessions.
After being selected by the Broncos with the 20th overall pick in last year’s draft, Fant went on to lead rookie tight ends in catches (40), receiving yards (562) and yards per catch (14.0) last season. He’ll look to build on those numbers as Denver’s clear No. 1 tight end this season.
