Broncos TE Noah Fant has ‘bigger goals’ than rookie receiving record

Broncos tight end Noah Fant is coming off one of the best games of his career, a three-catch, 115-yard performance against the Browns that included a 75-yard touchdown reception. Now the rookie tight end will aim to consistently put together big games.

“I’m just looking to stack bricks on top of each other,” Fant said Sunday. “I’m looking to do better any way I can. There are definitely some plays I made in that game that I could have done better on, but I’ll come in tomorrow and see where I can improve.”

Nine games into his rookie season, Fant has already broken Denver’s franchise record for the most receptions by a rookie tight end (23).

“For me, I am my biggest critic,” Fant said. “I hold myself to a very high standard. It’s nice to have that rookie record, but I am definitely trying to attain a lot bigger goals and I’m trying to do a lot better.

“So, it’s always good to attain certain milestones like that, but I’m looking to keep pushing forward.”

That’s exactly the kind of attitude the Broncos want to see from Fant.
