Broncos select WR Henry Ruggs in 2020 NFL mock draft

In his latest 2020 NFL mock draft for Draft Wire, Luke Easterling has the Denver Broncos selecting Alabama wide receiver Henry Ruggs III with the 15th overall pick in the first round.

Here is Easterling’s commentary with the selection:

This has to be the dream pick for Denver, and especially for Drew Lock. the Broncos already have a young receiver with size and physicality in Courtland Sutton, but they need a game-breaker with elite speed who can stretch opposing defenses and take advantage of Lock’s top-shelf arm strength. Ruggs is arguably the most dangerous playmaker in this entire draft, which makes him a steal halfway through the first round.

Ruggs has been a popular pick for Denver in mock drafts and there’s little doubt that he would be an excellent selection. After seeing the team lose Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas in recent years, Broncos fans would likely welcome a new duo of Sutton and Ruggs.
