Broncos select Auburn DL Derrick Brown in 2020 NFL mock draft

In his latest 2020 NFL mock draft for Draft Wire, Luke Easterling has the Denver Broncos selecting Auburn defensive lineman Derrick Brown in the first round. Here is Eaterling’s commentary with the selection:

Another team that needs to address offensive line, the Broncos will find better value elsewhere in this situation. Brown has been just as disruptive as he was last season, but he’s a more polished, experienced prospect this time around. He’s definitely worth a top-15 pick.

Brown (6-5, 318 pounds) has totaled 17 tackles (including four tackles for losses) and three sacks through six games this season. He has also broken up three passes, forced two fumbles and recovered two fumbles.

With defensive linemen Derek Wolfe, Shelby Harris, Adam Gotsis and Mike Purcell all set to become free agents in 2020, Denver could certainly use more depth up front. Brown could make an immediate impact.
