Broncos safety Kareem Jackson ‘doing well,’ anticipates full recovery

After testing positive for the coronavirus, Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson posted the following message on his Twitter page on Thursday:

After experiencing mild symptoms, I have tested positive for COVID-19. I am currently at home and in self-isolation under the care of my doctors. Although I am doing well and anticipate a full recovery, I wanted to take this opportunity to remind everyone to take this virus seriously. I have and will continue to do my part to keep our communities safe, and I encourage everyone to do the same.

Thank you for all the love and support.

Jackson is the second known Broncos player to have a confirmed case of COVID-19 this offseason. In April, star outside linebacker Von Miller tested positive for the virus. After two weeks of self-isolation, Miller tested negative.

Jackson plans to self-isolate for two weeks and expects a “full recovery.” He totaled 66 tackles, two interceptions and 10 pass breakups in 2019.
