One day after announcing a sports betting and daily fantasy partner deal with FanDuel, the Denver Broncos announced a deal with Betfred USA Sports on Tuesday. Betfred USA Sports is the U.S. subsidiary of the Manchester, U.K.-based Betfred Group.
Betfred is opening a sportsbook at the Saratoga Casino in Black Hawk this week and will put up a sports betting lounge outside of Empower Field at Mile High this season (COVID-19 permitting). As part of their deal with the Broncos, Betfred will also have advertisements at the team’s stadium.
“We’re extremely proud of our partnership with Saratoga and are excited to be part of the rich gaming community in Black Hawk,” Betfred USA Sports chief operating officer Bryan Bennett said in a press release.
“We knew we needed to be aggressive upon entering the Colorado market with a Vegas-quality sportsbook and a sponsorship agreement with the Denver Broncos, one of the premier franchises in U.S. sports. We look forward to launching our online platform right before football season.”
Betfred Group owns and operates over 1,600 betting shops in the United Kingdom. They launched Betfred USA Sports in Las Vegas last year.
