Broncos provide updates on injured players

Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay (wrist) and offensive guard Ron Leary (Achilles) will do “some stuff” during organized team activities this week but will not be full-go, coach Vic Fangio said Sunday.

Meanwhile, wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (Achilles) will remain sidelined and tight end Jake Butt (ACL) will be limited.

“[Butt will] be doing stuff,” Fangio said. “You’ll see him early in practice doing things.”

In the secondary, cornerbacks Bryce Callahan (foot) and Isaac Yiadom (shoulder) should be back on the field together soon.

“Callahan will go,” Fangio said. “Yiadom, a little bit limited the first week, but by the second week should be going full.”

With veteran Chris Harris holding out in a contract dispute and Kareem Jackson spending time at safety, Denver will be leaning on Callahan and Yiadom this summer. The team won’t rush either player into full-go sessions until they are completely healed.

The team’s first set of OTAs will wrap up on Thursday.
