After announcing a 53-man roster on Saturday, the Denver Broncos will consider options off the waiver wire on Sunday morning. After players clear waivers, the team can begin building a 10-man practice squad at 11 a.m. MT on Sept. 1.

Players on the practice squad can be promoted to the 53-man roster during the regular season. Other teams are also allowed to sign players off Denver’s practice squad to their own active rosters.
Players that have gone from the Broncos’ practice squad to the active roster in recent years include outside linebacker Shaq Barrett, running back Kapri Bibbs, center Matt Paradis, wide receiver Bennie Fowler, running back Juwan Thompson, wide receiver Jordan Taylor, offensive lineman Elijah Wilkinson and wide receiver River Cracraft.
