Broncos OLB Bradley Chubb ‘all good’ after leaving Saturday’s practice

Denver Broncos outside linebacker Bradley Chubb left Saturday’s practice at Empower Field at Mile High and had ice placed on his left knee. Last year, Chubb missed 12 games with a left ACL injury.

“Bradley just didn’t feel right out there, so for precautionary [reasons], we took him out,” Broncos coach Vic Fangio said during his Zoom press conference after practice.

Chubb told KMGH-TV’s Troy Renck that he’s “all good,” which is a great sign. Denver linebacker Von Miller indicated after Saturday’s practice that Chubb’s injury is not serious.

“I don’t think it’s a serious injury,” Miller said. “We talked on the sideline and stuff, and just be cautionary. Now is not the time to push it and go all out. We didn’t have a lot of time to go through our full routine.

“I was telling him, we’re Ferraris. Ferraris, sometimes the check engine light comes on. That doesn’t mean the car is broken or anything like that. We just have to get back into the lab, figure out what’s going on and get back at it. Bradley is good . . . He’ll be ready to go for the first game.”
