Broncos OL Chaz Green carted off field at practice

Less than a week into practice, the Broncos have already had two players carted off the field.

Denver offensive lineman Chaz Green was carted off Monday, according to The Athletic’s Nicki Jhabvala. It’s unclear what happened to Green.

Broncos players have a day off Tuesday so we’ll know more about Green’s injury status when the team returns to practice Wednesday.

Green (6-5, 318 pounds) entered the league as a third-round pick out of Florida with the Cowboys in 2015. He spent the first three years of his career in Dallas before stints with the Saints and Raiders last year.

The 27-year-old guard has dressed for 22 games in his career and has seven starts on his resume. He has allowed seven sacks in his career, according to STATS LLC.

Last week, inside linebacker Todd Davis was carted off the field with a calf injury. Tests later showed that the linebacker will need 3-4 weeks to recover. Davis should be back in time for the regular season.
