Broncos offensive line ranked No. 12 by PFF

The Denver Broncos have the 12th-best offensive line in the NFL, according to pre-Week 1 rankings from Pro Football Focus, a website that tracks advanced stats and grades players.

The offensive line has a high ranking but PFF’s Michael Renner pointed to Denver’s weakness in his ranking:

A lot of the preseason hype around this line centered around the possibility of third-year tackle Garett Bolles making a leap in performance. So far that doesn’t look to be the case, as he earned a 61.3 pass-blocking grade and 54.7 run-blocking grade across three games.

Bolles is believed to be the team’s weak link on the offensive line by many fans and pundits. If Bolles shows improvement this season, the Broncos might be able to crack the top-10 in PFF’s offensive line rankings.

From left to right, Denver’s starter this year will be Bolles, Dalton Risner, Connor McGovern, Ron Leary and Ja’Wuan James. Elijah Wilkinson will serve as the backup swing tackle/guard and Corey Levin will be the backup center.
