Broncos met with WR Jerry Jeudy at NFL combine

The Denver Broncos interviewed Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy at the NFL combine this week, according to a report from KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis.

Jeudy (6-1, 192 pounds) caught 159 passes for 2,742 yards and 26 touchdowns during his three years with the Crimson Tide. After a quiet freshman year (14 catches for 264 yards and two scores), Jeudy emerged as one of the best receivers in college football in 2018.

Jeudy is the eighth-best player in this year’s class and the top receiver, according to Luke Easterling’s 2020 NFL draft big board for Draft Wire. He seems unlikely to fall to the 15th pick — where Denver will select in the first round — but the Broncos are wise to do their due diligence.

Drew Lock has two great receiving weapons in Courtland Sutton and tight end Noah Fant but Denver will want to add at least one more talented WR to the offense this spring. A player like Jeudy would be a welcomed addition to any offense and we’ll be tracking him as the draft approaches.
