Broncos met with USC cornerback Iman Marshall at Senior Bowl

The Denver Broncos spoke with USC cornerback Iman Marshall after a Senior Bowl practice last month, according to Draft Wire’s Gavino Borquez.

Marshall (6-1, 200 pounds) put up some impressive numbers with the Trojans, recording 218 tackles and six interceptions from 2015-2018. He also broke up 36 passes and forced one fumble.

Marshall’s “ability to drop into zone and read the quarterback is second to none,” Borquez wrote for Chargers Wire last October.

With Bradley Roby set to become an unrestricted free agent in March, the Broncos could certainly use more depth behind Chris Harris. Marshall may be one of the defensive backs the team is considering as a possible replacement for Roby.

Marshall is the 14th-best cornerback in this year’s class, according to Charlie Campbell of WalterFootball.com. He is projected to be selected sometime between the third and fourth rounds. Denver owns one third-round pick and two fourth-round picks this year.

Broncos fans should probably keep Marshall’s name in mind.
