Broncos lose to Packers 27-16, extend losing streak

The Denver Broncos lost to the Green Bay Packers 27-16 on Sunday afternoon, extending their losing streak to seven games dating back to last season.

The Broncos (0-3) have not won since a 24-10 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Dec. 2 last year. Since then, Denver has lost to the San Francisco 49ers (20-14), Cleveland Browns (17-16), Oakland Raiders (27-14; 24-16), Los Angeles Chargers (23-9), Chicago Bears (16-14) and Green Bay.

Denver was plagued by mistakes against the Packers (3-0) on Sunday. Quarterback Joe Flacco threw an interception and lost a fumble. Tight end Noah Fant lost a fumble as well. Those three turnovers proved to be costly.

On defense, Denver failed to record any sacks or turnovers for the third straight week.

Running back Phillip Lindsay was one bright spot in the loss. He gained 130 yards from scrimmage and scored two touchdowns in Week 3.

Up next for the Broncos is a home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday afternoon. That game will air on CBS.
