Broncos LB Joe Dineen doubtful to return against 49ers

Broncos rookie linebacker Joe Dineen suffered a hand injury in the second quarter of a preseason game against the 49ers on Monday evening.

Denver announced that Dineen is doubtful to return. He is competing for a backup role in Vic Fangio’s 3-4 defense.

The Broncos are leading San Francisco 6-3 late in the first half.
