Broncos land WR KJ Hamler in 3rd round of 2020 NFL mock draft

Luke Easterling’s latest three-round 2020 NFL mock draft has the Denver Broncos selecting Penn State wide receiver KJ Hamler in the third round.

Hamler (5-9, 176 pounds) has caught 98 passes for 1,658 yards and 13 touchdowns over the last two seasons. He has also rushed for 87 yards and another score.

If selected by Denver, Hamler would become the second Nittany Lions wide receiver on the Broncos’ wide receiver, joining DaeSean Hamilton. Denver selected Hamilton in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL draft.

In addition to selecting Hamler, the Broncos also select defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw, offensive tackle Trey Adams, linebacker Jacob Philips and cornerback Damon Arnette in Easterling’s latest mock draft.

Denver is projected to receive three compensatory selections from the NFL this offseason, which would bring the Broncos’ total number of draft picks to 12. Denver general manager John Elway will have seven selections to work with in the first four rounds of the draft, including the 15th overall pick.
