Broncos injuries: LB Todd Davis held out of practice

Denver Broncos inside linebacker Todd Davis (calf) was listed as “did not particpate” on Thursday’s injury report. The Broncos have off Thursday so the injury report is just an estimation from the team.

If Davis is ruled out for Monday’s game against the Raiders, Alexander Johnson is expected to start in his place with Keishawn Bierria serving as Johnson’s backup.

Elsewhere on the team’s injury report, fellow inside linebacker Joe Jones (triceps) was also listed as DNP. If Jones is sidelined against Oakland, recently signed linebacker Corey Nelson will likely serve as Joey Jewell’s backup on defense.

Broncos fullback Andy Janovich (pectoral) was also listed as DNP. Recently acquired tight end/fullback Andrew Beck is expected to fill in on offense and special teams until Janovich returns.

Denver cornerback Bryce Callahan (foot) was listed as “limited participation,” as was safety Trey Marshall (neck).

For the Raiders, wide receiver Antonio Brown (non-injury related) and guard Gabe Jackson (knee) did not practice Thursday. Defensive lineman Corey Liuget (knee), linebacker Nicholas Morrow (ankle) and wide receiver J.J. Nelson (ankle) were limited.

Monday’s game is scheduled to begin at 8:20 p.m. MT. The “Monday Night Football” contest will be nationally televised on ESPN and will also air locally on KTVD-20. Oakland is considered a 2.5-point favorite at home.
