Broncos injuries: Ja’Wuan James doing ‘just OK’ in his recovery

Broncos cornerback Bryce Callahan (foot) was held out of practice Thursday and is likely still at least two weeks away from a possible return to the field.

Elsewhere on Denver’s injury, report, right tackle Ja’Wuan James (knee), safety Trey Marshall (lower leg) and cornerback Duke Dawson (foot) were listed as limited.

Broncos coach Vic Fangio seemed to hint during his media availability Thursday that James might still be a week away from returning to the starting lineup. James hasn’t played since Week 1 and Elijah Wilkinson has been a serviceable fill-in starter.

“He’s coming along OK,” Fangio said of James. “Just OK.”

Linebacker Justin Hollins (knee) fully practiced Thursday, a good sign that he should be able to play on Sunday.

For the Titans, outside linebacker Sharif Finch (shoulder), cornerback Chris Milton (calf), defensive end Cameron Wake (hamstring) and tight end Delanie Walker (knee) were all held out of practice.

Sunday’s game will air on CBS at 2:25 p.m. MT (view the TV map here).
