Broncos injuries: Emmanuel Sanders practiced Tuesday

After being ruled out at halftime of Sunday’s game against the Titans with a knee injury, Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders was back at practice Tuesday. That’s a good sign for Sanders’ chances of playing against the Chiefs on Thursday.

The Broncos and Chiefs both had walkthrough practices Tuesday and released estimated injury reports.

Cornerback Bryce Callahan (foot) was the only Denver player held out of practice with an injury on Tuesday. With Callahan sidelined, the Broncos are expected to start Davontae Harris at cornerback.

Elsewhere on Denver’s injury report, cornerback Duke Dawson (foot) and offensive tackle Ja’Wuan James (knee) were listed as limited.

Dawson missed last week’s game against Tennessee and safety Will Parks filled in a nickelback. Dawson should be able to play Thursday. James might sit out another week. If James is held out, Elijah Wilkinson will start again at right tackle.

For Kansas City, offensive tackle Eric Fisher (groin), cornerback Kendall Fuller (thumb), defensive lineman Chris Jones (groin) and guard Andrew Wylie (ankle) were all held out of practice. Wide receiver Sammy Watkins (hamstring) was listed as limited.

Thursday’s game will be nationally televised on NFL Network and Fox.
