Broncos injuries: Bryce Callahan did not practice Wednesday

After the Broncos’ loss to the Raiders in Week 1, coach Vic Fangio said cornerback Bryce Callahan’s lingering foot injury is a concern.

Fangio also said the cornerback has not suffered any setbacks but it doesn’t seem like a good sign that Callahan went from being limited in practice last week to not participating Wednesday.

Callahan was among four Broncos players that did not practice Wednesday, joining offensive tackle Ja’Wuan James (knee), fullback Andy Janovich (pectoral) and inside linebacker Joe Jones (triceps).

Inside linebacker Todd Davis (calf) was back at practice on a limited basis. Offensive guard Ron Leary (quadricep) was also limited.

For the Bears, tight end Trey Burton (groin) and nose tackle Eddie Goldman (oblique) were limited. Burton missed last week’s game against Packers.

“We’re going to see how he does,” Chicago coach Matt Nagy said of the tight end’s status. “If he does good, let’s see how he does the next day. And then if we get to it, we feel he’s good to go and we all collaborate on it, then let’s roll.”

Sunday’s game is scheduled to begin at 2:25 p.m. MT and will air on Fox.
