Broncos injuries: 2 players ruled out for Week 8

Denver Broncos defensive backs Bryce Callahan (foot) and Will Parks (hand) did not practice Friday and have been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts, coach Vic Fangio announced Friday.

Parks broke his hand last week and hopes to return after the team’s bye week. Following their bye, Denver will face the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11. Callahan is likely at least two weeks away from a potential return.

Elsewhere on the Broncos’ injury report, rookie linebacker Justin Hollins (knee) and right tackle Ja’Wuan James (knee) are listed as questionable. Denver tight end cut Noah Fant cut his foot yesterday and did not practice Friday but he is expected to play on Sunday. Fangio seemed to believe the tight end will be fine.

For the Colts, defensive tackle Carl Davis (hamstring) has been ruled out. Elsewhere on Indy’s injury report, cornerback Pierre Desir (hamstring), wide receiver Parris Campbell (abdominal), defensive tackle Tyquan Lewis (ankle), cornerback Kenny Moore II (knee) are tight end Jack Doyle (groin) are questionable.

Denver is considered a 5.5-point underdog against the Colts this week. Sunday’s game will air on CBS at 11:00 a.m. MT (view the TV map here).
