Broncos inactives: 5 players won’t play vs. Raiders

The Denver Broncos have announced their list of five inactive players for Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Broncos inside linebacker Kenny Young (concussion), quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (concussion), cornerback Michael Ojemudia, defensive lineman McTelvin Agim and safety Jamar Johnson are inactive this week.

Drew Lock will start in the place of Bridgewater and Brett Rypien will serve as Denver’s backup in Las Vegas.

Broncos center Lloyd Cushenberry is not officially inactive because he does not count against the active roster while on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, but he obviously won’t play today either. Austin Schlottmann will start in Cushenberry’s place against the Raiders.

To fill Cushenberry’s spot on the active roster, the Broncos elevated offensive tackle Quinn Bailey from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. Bailey will revert back to the practice squad next week.

Denver also signed center Javon Patterson and outside linebacker Pita Taumoepenu to the practice squad and placed inside linebacker Barrington Wade on the practice squad reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday.

Sunday’s game will begin at 2:25 p.m. MT on CBS (TV map here).
