Broncos hosting QBs Drew Lock and Dwayne Haskins this week

Last week, the Denver Broncos traveled to North Carolina to watch Duke quarterback Daniel Jones in a private workout. The team also held a private workout for Northwestern quarterback Clayton Thorson last week.

Two more quarterbacks are up next.

This week, Denver will host Missouri’s Drew Lock on a pre-draft visit, according to KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis. Lock actually got to the team’s facility on Sunday and will visit with the team again on Monday.

In addition to Lock, the Broncos will also host Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins on a pre-draft visit this week, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. After visiting Denver, Haskins will also visit the Washington Redskins.

Lock and Haskins are widely considered two of the top three QBs in this year’s class. Haskins completed 56.9 percent of his throws for 12,193 yards with 99 touchdown passes against 39 interceptions from 2015-2018. Haskins completed 70 percent of his passes for 4,831 yards with 50 touchdowns against eight interceptions last season.

The Broncos will select 10th overall in this year’s draft.
