Broncos finalize 10-player practice squad

After finalizing a 53-man roster for the 2019 NFL season, the Denver Broncos added outside linebacker Josh Watson and offensive tackle Jake Rodgers to the practice squad on Monday.

The team’s 10-player practice squad is now full. Here’s a look at the squad:

  • OT Quinn Bailey, Arizona State (rookie)
  • WR Fred Brown, Mississippi State (1st year)
  • OLB Ahmad Gooden, Samford (rookie)
  • CB Alijah Holder, Stanford (rookie)
  • OL Tyler Jones, North Carolina State (rookie)
  • RB Khalfani Muhammad, California (1st year)
  • OT Jake Rodgers, Eastern Washington (2nd year)
  • QB Brett Rypien, Boise State (rookie)
  • DL Deyon Sizer, CSU-Pueblo (rookie)
  • ILB Josh Watson, Colorado State (rookie)

In addition to finalizing a practice squad, the Broncos placed quarterback Drew Lock (thumb), running back Theo Riddick (shoulder) and tight end Jake Butt (knee) on injured reserve Monday. The team also gave out jersey numbers to seven new players and three players changed their numbers.

Denver will face the Raiders in Week 1 on ESPN on Monday, Sept. 9.
