Former Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow posted several photos on his Instagram page on Tuesday showing off some of the alternate helmets he has been signing. The first image featured a white alternate Broncos helmet:
Many fans were quick to comment that they missed Tebow in Denver.
“I miss seeing you wear orange and blue,” @chris_white03 said.
“Come back to Denver,” @jg.lozano26 added.
The Broncos re-shared the photo on their official Instagram page on Thursday, prompting some fans to comment their disapproval of the way Tebow’s time came to an end in Denver.
“Ya’ll don’t appreciate or respect Tebow nearly enough for what he did for us and I don’t like that smh,” @btys said.
“Do you know how good this guy could’ve been if he learned under manning?!” @tonecorleone25 commented.
The Broncos traded Tebow to the New York Jets after the team signed Peyton Manning during free agency in 2012. Tebow last played in the NFL in 2015 and he has been pursuing a professional baseball career since 2016.
