Broncos draft prospects bracket: Devin Bush vs. Drew Lock

As the NCAA basketball tournament (also known as March Madness) continues, so does our Denver Broncos draft prospects tournament.

We started with the top eight players on the draft board, excluding players widely expected to be taken before the No. 10 overall pick such as Kyler Murray, Dwayne Haskins, Joey Bosa and Quinnen Williams. A voting process has narrowed the bracket down to four names.

Devin Bush, a linebacker out of Michigan, dominated the vote against Iowa tight end Noah Fant in the first round, earning 77 percent of the vote.

Bush is an intense linebacker who seems to have all of the athletic ability that Devin White, the No. 1 seed in this bracket, has.

Though Bush is a bit undersized at 5-11 and 234 pounds, he makes too many plays to completely overlook him for that fact. Unlike White, his best position at the next level may be at one of the outside linebacker spots.

If White is already off the board at No. 10, Bush could still be a solid option to fall back on. He had 172 tackles, 10 sacks and one interception during his college career.

Drew Lock will no doubt be the more exciting pick here, but do the Broncos really want to draft a quarterback in the first round? It makes sense for the team to be looking at a quarterback in the later rounds due to the current backup situation, but John Elway might be content to run with Joe Flacco for a few seasons.

Still, if Lock is there at No.10, the Broncos would have to at least consider it. The former Missouri quarterback threw for over 12,000 yards and 99 touchdowns during his college career and shows many signs of being able to be a franchise quarterback.

Which player would you rather see the Broncos select in the first round?
