Broncos defenders call Bills’ Josh Allen a talented QB

Bills second-year quarterback Josh Allen has completed 60.3 percent of his passes this season for 2,175 yards with 13 touchdown passes against seven interceptions. He has also rushed for 331 yards and seven touchdowns.

On Sunday, Allen will face a Broncos secondary that features cornerback Chris Harris and safeties Justin Simmons and Kareem Jackson.

“I think he’s solid,” Harris said of Allen on Tuesday. “He’s a really good quarterback. He uses his legs, he’s playing smart, they’re doing a lot of no-huddle with him, he’s moving around in the pocket and he can make all the deep throws.”

Harris then started to presumably give the QB a little bit of constructive criticism but seemingly changed his mind mid-statement.

“If I can give him a little — I don’t want to actually,” Harris said. “I’m going to say all positives about him today.”

Simmons echoed the superlatives.

“Josh Allen is a really talented quarterback,” Simmons said Tuesday. “He can make all the throws. He has a strong arm, a really good build and runs hard and fast. It’s going to be tough.”

Sunday’s game will begin at 11:00 a.m. MT on CBS (view the TV map).
