Broncos claim former Titans OL Corey Levin off waivers

The Tennessee Titans have made some interesting moves this week as the team trims down its roster ahead of Week 1.

One that was slightly surprising was the decision to cut offensive lineman Corey Levin.

But just as quickly as Levin lost his place in Nashville, he found a new NFL home with the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos claimed Levin off waivers on Sunday morning, as originally reported by team writer Jim Wyatt.

The former Tennessee-Chattanooga lineman was originally selected by the Titans in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, and played at left guard for the entirety of 2018.

Levin only got one start for the Titans.

Given the Titans’ continued struggles within the offensive line, it will be interesting to see if this was the right move on the team’s end as the Titans play their first meaningful game of the year against the Cleveland Browns on Sept. 8.
