Broncos CB Chris Harris named to PFF’s Team of the Week

Coming off a 16-0 win over the Titans, Broncos cornerback Chris Harris has earned Team of the Week honors from Pro Football Focus, a website that tracks advanced stats and grades players on a 0-to-100 scale.

Judging from PFF’s stats, Harris couldn’t have had much of a better game against Tennessee:

Harris was fantastic on Sunday, shutting out the Titans’ passing attack. Two passes were thrown into his coverage in the game and they netted zero yards, an interception, a pass breakup and an NFL passer rating of 0.0.

Not bad, not bad at all!

Harris, 30, has totaled 18 tackles, one forced fumble and one interception through six games this season. He has also broken up three passes.

With one more interception this season, Harris will extend his streak of seven-straight years with multiple interceptions to eight years. He is the only cornerback in the NFL with multiple INTs each season since 2012.

Harris now has 20 INTs in his career, tied for 10th-most in team history.
