Broncos announce several changes to scouting staff

After choosing not to extend the contract of scout Klein Kubiak, the Denver Broncos announced several changes to their scouting staff Wednesday.

The Broncos hired Frantzy Jourdain as their new southeast area scout and moved scout Eugene Armstrong from the southeast to the southwest region. Kubiak previously scouted the southwest area.

Denver also hired Eddie Simpkins, a former personnel intern, as a scouting assistant and promoted Rob Paton and Deon Randall to college/pro scouts. Here’s a look at the team’s updated personnel/scouting staff, with their years with the team in parentheses:

John Elway: President of Football Ops./GM (2011-pres.)

Matt Russell: Director of Player Personnel (2009-pres.)

A.J. Durso: Director of Pro Personnel (2013-pres.)

Brian Stark: Director of College Scouting (2012-pres.)

Eugene Armstrong: Southwest Area Scout (2007-pres.)

Dave Bratten: College Scouting Coord./Area Scout (1997-pres.)

Scott DiStefano: Midwest Area Scout (1982-pres.)

Frantzy Jourdain: Southeast Area Scout (2019)

Darren Mougey: Western Regional Scout (2012-pres.)

Nick Schiralli: Eastern Regional Scout (2008-pres.)

Bryan Chesin: Midwest Area Scout (2014-pres.)
