
A motorcyclist has died after a rush hour crash in south London, police said.
Emergency services raced to Homesdale Road, in Bromley, at about 7.55am this morning after receiving reports of a car in collision with a motorcycle.
Paramedics battled to save the motorcyclist but he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
A spokeswoman for the force said: “The rider of the motorcycle, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Enquiries are underway to trace and inform [his] next of kin. The car stopped at the scene.
“Road closures remain in place and enquiries continue”.
No further details about the motorcyclist have been revealed at this stage.
