Brockley stabbing: Man in his 20s rushed to hospital following ‘knife attack’

A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Brockley on Tuesday afternoon.

Police officers were called to Brockley Road at 3.29pm following reports of an injured man.

A man, aged in his 20s, was found at the scene with knife injuries and rushed to a South London hospital. His condition has been assessed as non life-threatening.

No arrests have been made.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Anyone who has information concerning this incident should call police on 101 or Tweet @MetCC quoting 3753/28DEC.

“To remain 100% anonymous call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or visit Crimestoppers-uk.org.”

The road remains closed, according to the AA, who wrote in a tweet: “Road closed and queueing traffic due to police incident on B218 Brockley Road both ways from Braxfield Road to B236 Adelaide Avenue.”
