Broadmeadow are set to play a rescheduled Herald Women's Premier League match against Warners Bay on Tuesday night after a Magic player was cleared on Sunday of having coronavirus.
Northern NSW Football advised on Friday afternoon that the round-two match between Broadmeadow and Thornton scheduled for Magic Park that night was postponed as a precaution after a Magic WPL player, who had been in recent contact with a number of the club's senior members, had become unwell and was awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test.
A Magic spokesperson told the Newcastle Herald on Sunday the player's results had come back negative and the club expected the rescheduled round-one match with Warners Bay, which had been washed out, to go ahead as planned on Tuesday night.
