After seeing success with repeats of A Mother's Son and Innocent, ITV is bringing one of its big guns back this week.
Three years after its third series pulled in millions every week, Broadchurch is making a shock return to screens on Monday night as ITV repeat series 1.
It was last on in TV in 20017, with Olivia Colman and David Tennant once again joining forces to crack the case, but it was back in 2013 that Broadchurch first pulled in audiences of nearly 10 million for its first series.
So while Broadchurch is a repeat rather than a new series, it should certainly fill the void left by a serious absence of new dramas being made due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It is series 1 that is being repeated from June 8, with it kicking off with the shock murder of youngster Danny Latimer which rocks a whole community and leaves everyone asking who killed Danny?
