A Scottish broadcasting legend is making a special programme for Renfrewshire listeners to mark 55 years in the business.
Jack McLaughlin, famous for McLaughlin’s Ceilidh on 242 Radio Scotland, Radio Clyde and STV, will return to the airwaves on Paisley FM 107.5 at 6pm on Hogmanay, and it will be repeated on New Year’s Day, at 5pm.
McLaughlin’s Ceilidh will feature many of the favourite songs and tunes that made his Saturday night show unmissable and might even include a song from the Alexander Brothers.

“It was a by-chance remark in a conversation with Johnstone businessman Tom McShane that got us in touch with Jack” explained Norman Ross from Paisley FM. “And after a quick chat with Jack, he was delighted to get back on-air again with his popular programme .
McLaughlin’s Ceilidh is on Ner’Day at 6pm Paisley FM on 107.5 FM across Paisley and Renfrewshire and surrounding areas plus online at paisleyfm.co.uk and smart speaker “Play Paisley FM”.
