Brixton Disco Festival 2019 lineup and tickets: Horse Meat Disco announced as headliners

Horse Meat Disco have been announced as headliners of this year's Brixton Disco Festival.

The group will help bring the party at the event on Saturday April 27, which celebrates four decades of disco in south London.

Evelyn ‘Champagne’ King, Greg Wilson, Francois K and Cosmo will also perform at the festival, which returns for the second time in 2019.

The one-day programme welcomes a wide range of live music, DJ sets, rooftop events, exhibitions, record fairs, screenings and Q&As. There will also be a Roller Disco taking place in the square throughout the day.

The festival takes place in and around Brixton’s Windrush Square, in venues including Electric Brixton, Prince of Wales Rooftop & Club, The Ritzy, and The Black Cultural Archives.

Horse Meat Disco have developed a reputation for being one of the capital’s best feel-good DJ collectives since forming in 2003. They’re also set to perform at UK and European festivals like Gala, Annie Mac’s Lost and Found and Hideout Festival later this year.
