Brits will have to wear masks while on holiday in Spain until Spring 2022, according to Spanish restrictions.
Spanish leaders are concerned that a winter flu wave may "complicate the situation" and feel it is too soon to ease Covid restrictions.
Despite England returning to almost complete normality, in Spain it is mandatory to wear a face mask in indoor spaces.
Tourists are not required to wear a mark when on the beach, in a swimming pool or walking by the sea as long as social distancing is maintained.
Spain is currently a low-risk Covid area, with its incident rate falling below 50 per 100,000 people.

However, Carolina Darias, Minister of health announced that the restrictions will be eased "little by little" and that while statistics have improved, it was not yet clear when masks will no longer be mandatory.
She expressed concern that the flu season may bring some challenges, which may be worsened if masks are no longer required indoors.
She said: "Indoors we are going to continue with masks and we will see how the pandemic, which is declining thanks to vaccination, develops."
Instances of the flu have hit historical lows in Spain which is believed to largely be due to masks.
People are required to always carry a mask in case of finding themselves in a large outdoor crowd whereby 1.5m social distancing cannot be maintained.
Masks much be worn in shops, offices, restaurants and on public transport, as well as large outdoor events.

In the hospitality and entertainment sectors, masks must be worn unless when eating or drinking and masks must be worn in nightclubs.
The rules may not have been eased, but Brits are still able to enjoy a holiday as all sectors are open.
For those who are looking to travel to Spain, there are a few documents that will be needed, depending on your vaccination status.
This includes an online declaration form filled out within 48 hours of travel, a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before arrival or proof of vaccination completed at least 14 days before arrival.
