Brits stranded as flights cancelled across Middle East after strikes on Iran

  • Hundreds of flights across the Middle East have been cancelled, leaving thousands of Britons stranded, following US and Israeli strikes against Iran.

  • BBC producer Elliot Worthing's flight from Doha was diverted to Muscat, Oman, where passengers were informed of the attacks and expressed concern about being stranded for days.
  • The widespread disruption also affected flights departing for the region, with Jonny Escott's flight from Newcastle to Dubai being cancelled.
